Abstract
The aims to analyze the problem of education’s financing system in the light of the field and methodology of political economy. From this point of view, the analyses of education system financing were presented at the examples of the allocative, redistributive and simulative functions of the state budget. The article makes a contribution to making the interdisciplinary approach to studying the public sector more widespread in the field of social sciences.
