Abstract
The paper aims to analyze the reasons of increasing malnutrition in the Word. To the most important one could include: increasing prices of food due to decrease of harvests, increasing prices of production inputs, speculations, and devoting agricultural products to non food purposes, esp. biofuels. The economic crises and associating unemployment as well as decreasing financial transfers from family members living in developed countries resulted in increase up to 1020 mln. of people the number of malnourished in developing countries.
