Regionalne zróżnicowanie zmian w polskim rolnictwie po integracji z Unią Europejską

The paper deals with the regional differentiation of changes of some indicators characteristic for Polish agriculture. Based on statistical data from the years 2000 and 2007, it was found that the trends and dynamics of the changes considerably vary between the provinces. Such a situation is caused not only by the general macroeconomic conditions, but also by the unique character of agriculture in particular provinces. This is the agrarian structure that greatly affects the dynamics of indicator changes. The analysis proved that the regional agricultural differentiation has strengthened over the last years. While in western and northern Poland commercial farms become more and more important, a large number of small farms in south-eastern part of the country lose the commercial character and transform into self-sufficient, social farms. The regional differentiation of changes in Polish agriculture should be analyzed regularly as some phenomena and trends seem evident after longer periods of time.
