Ubóstwo ludności wiejskiej o niepewnych dochodach

The article presents situation of rural population with uncertain incomes. Particularly the poverty level according to different approaches: absolute, relative and subjective was discussed. The income gap allowing the poor to rise above the marked poverty line was defined as well. The size of the investigated group deprived possibility to realize needs on the defined level was indicated. Their relatively worse situation comparing to other groups living both in rural and urban areas was highlighted. The similarities and differences between rural population with precarious incomes and precariat were also underlined.
