Abstract
This paper presents the essence of the models of interest groups’ behavior and influence as well as a concise evaluation of their usefulness in foreseeing the expected shape of agricultural policy. In particular, limitations and possibilities connected with the use of such models in explaining how the process of reaching specific solutions in the form of concrete instruments to implement that policy under given socio-economic conditions were indicated.
