Determinanty efektywności technicznej produkcji mleka – analiza porównawcza w wybranych gospodarstwach europejskich w latach 2007 i 2011

The research related to determinants of indicator value of technical efficiency (TE) in dairy farms in 2007 and 2011. The analysis showed the difference between efficient farms and inefficient farm. The study has been used Data Envelopment Analysis method. The network of European Dairy Farmers database are used as source of data. The results showed that in 2007 the variations between efficient and inefficient farms were higher than in 2011. Results also revealed that the feed costs are higher in the inefficient farms in comparison with effective farms.
